The Last Of Us Part 2 Devs Will Reveal Extended Gameplay Footage During This Week S State Of Play

Scheduled to air on May 27 at 1pm PST on Twitch and YouTube, this week’s episode of State of Play promises a “special preview” featuring The Last of Us: Part 2 director Neil Druckmann as he walks through details of the gameplay experience and story. “The current cut is clocking in a little more than 20 minutes,” reads a post on the PlayStation Blog, “ending with an extended sequence showing off about eight minutes of never-before-seen gameplay. But don’t expect any PS5 news or updates, as it’ll just be a deep-dive into the world of the game. Naughty Dog discusses some of the game’s new mechanics for the first time last week, introducing dodge, jump, and prone as means to survive in The Last of Us: Part 2.
