Though it is a massively popular game, Fall Guys does not quite have the cheating epidemic other hot games suffer. Cheaters do exist, however. As bizarre of an idea as it does to cheat in a casual game about playing some weird physical mini-games, some people nonetheless have. In response, developer Mediatonic has been working behind the scenes on a few solutions. As it stands, when a cheater is detected, they need to first finish the show (mini-game) being played before they’re kicked out. According to the developer, bad faith actors used the feature to circumvent bans by essentially creating new Steam accounts and sharing their library of games with them. You may recall that in 2018, PUBG developers had to follow a similar route after Family Sharing abusers relied on the same trick to cheat in that game.
