Microsoft has opened up Xbox Console Streaming to Xbox insiders in all supported Xbox Live countries. Xbox Console Streaming is a feature that allows players to stream games from their home Xbox to mobile remotely. Xbox Console Streaming is different from xCloud in that it uses your home’s internet connection and hardware. You need to own the games you’re going to stream, and they need to be installed on your home console....

Remember when you would get home with a new console and then rapidly switch between all the launch games you managed to get your hands on, just to experience them all as quickly as possible? Well, that’s not really possible any more. And it’s a bit sad. I am super excited about the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and have been ever since rumours of their existence spluttered onto the internet years ago....

Today, the National Football League (NFL) and 2K Game announced a multi-year partnership for multiple titles. The games, unlike EA Sports’ Madden titles, will be non-simulation football games. While specific game titles, developers and release dates will be announced at a later date, 2K confirmed: “the projects are in early development and will launch starting in the calendar year 2021.” “The NFL is one of the most successful sports brands in the world, known for creating incredible entertainment for fans,” said David Ismailer, president of 2K....

Requiem is the sequel to the well-received A Plague Tale: Innocence, and takes place after its conclusion. We still play as Amicia, and her brother Hugo as they leave their home behind and venture into a new world. Requiem looks to also be a grim and dark tale, albeit one that will take us to a more colourful world compared to the original game. The trailer shows Amicia on a ship sailing South, so expect new places to visit and new situations to bring a tear to your eye....

As with all console launches, some units are bound to be faulty. Even though it’s very early days for PS5, we sadly already have our first dead unit. The only PS5 console game reviewer @JeremyPenter has no longer works. Penter, better known as ACG on YouTube, revealed on Twitter that the unit no longer powers on. Age of Empires 4 is coming later this year in the fall to PC and Xbox Game Pass for PC and through Steam. A closed beta is also on the way. From March 1st you can celebrate Mario and co.’s 35th anniversary with a collection of in-game items available in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. These range from clothing and decorative items to faithful recreations of classic Mario level furniture. It’s not yet entirely clear how long the promotional items will be available in ACNH, or indeed if they’re sticking around for good. But with quite a few items to collect — and a limit on the number you can buy per day — it’s a good idea to start now if you’re hoping to redecorate your island with a Mushroom Kingdom theme....

According to Respawn, Bloodhound will be given their own Town Takeover on World’s Edge, and players will be tasked with battling Prowlers for a chance at some high-tier loot. Ubisoft has detailed patch 1.0.4 for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Outside of the day one patch, this is the game’s first major post-launch update, and it’s full of fixes and several new features. For starters, 1.0.4 will arrive today at 4am PT, 7am ET, 12pm UK on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Stadia. Its size varies; anywhere from 2.5GB on the low end to 4.3GB on the high....

Back 4 Blood, a hotly-anticipated co-op zombie shooter in the classic style from Turtle Rock Studios, is off to a pretty thunderous start. The game managed to attract a whopping peak of 98,024 players over this weekend, and that’s just on Steam. The game, currently available as an early access beta test, became incredibly popular very quickly when it launched its early access, became one of Steam’s most actively played games in just a few hours – and its popularity continued throughout the weekend, per SteamDB....

First, when playing the campaign, you may have noticed that the game can sometimes throw a lot of random special zombies at you, often at the same time. This was an issue across the various difficulties, causing a sudden difficulty spike.
