In an interview over on GamesIndustry.biz, PlayStation Studios head Hermen Hulst notes that “what Haven has created is so exciting for us, there was just a desire to deepen that relationship”. Apparently, PlayStation has been impressed by “what [Haven has created]” for the publisher and “how it is coming together”. Per Hulst, Haven is ahead of schedule – a rarity in this industry – and the team’s progress prompted Sony to “invest deeply and do this properly”....

Google has announced that starting this week, you will be able to connect your Stadia controller to your computer wirelessly. All you have to do is link your controller and Stadia.com using your Wi-Fi network. Once you do this, you will be able to use the controller without a USB-C cable connection. The ability to wirelessly connect the controller was announced with Staida last year, but the feature wasn’t available at launch....
For modders, update 1.5.5 contains architectural changes. Basically, the update migrates the games from XNA (.NET 4.5.2) to MonoGame (.NET 5) which will “futureproof” the game allowing mods to access more than 4GB of RAM. Various internal changes were also made for mod authors. Some of the quality of life changes include the ability to purchase craft stacks of up to 25 items at a time, settings now defaulting to what they were the last time saved the game when creating a new save, farm buildings can be moved to or built onto artifact spots, and you can now buy back any items you may have accidentally sold during the same shopping session....
