GTFO’s Infection update is live and adds additional levels to the action-horror first-person shooter through a new environment laid out over 10 new maps. You can see some of what to expect in the developer playthrough of one of the new levels below. In the video, the developers are on a mission to transport batteries to four different power generators. Because the batteries they are carrying are heavy, they can’t use their weapons, forcing cooperation with other teammates. To find their way to the generators, the devs are having to sneak past sleeping enemies. If they fail, alerted enemies will scream and attract even more which risks the player getting infected. The four-player co-op game arrived on Steam Early Access in December for $34.99 and puts you in an underground facility called “the Complex”, where your team’s survival relies on your ability to communicate, coordinate, and “count your bullets.” If you want an idea of what to expect in the game, give our GTFO preview a read.
