Gearbox and Counterplay have dropped a new trailer for Godfall that’s specifically showing off the game’s PC version. Just like the PS5 trailer from a couple of days ago, this one also has a decent chunk of gameplay. What’s interesting here, however, is that the developer took the time to outline how the game works, and share some of its development goals. Loot is a major component of Godfall. Loot comes in many different forms, not least of which the Valorplate armour, each set of which essentially act as a mini-sub class. Although there’s a big focus on making loot interesting, the developer didn’t want the action to be entirely reliant on gear. Skilful mastery of the game’s melee combat is equally as important. The game’s world is split into four realms based on the elements of earth, water, air and fire. As a Valorian knight, you’ll be tackling enemies across these worlds on your way to the end boss.

Godfall is coming to PC and PS5 this holiday.
