Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Siege of Paris | How to unlock the Bishop Gozlin Assassination Event
After the cutscene, follow the quest marker through the sacked walls to begin. On the wall immediately in front of you is a note telling of a Norse ally who might know where Gozlin is being held in the church belltower.
Sneak or fight your way into the building where they’re being held - climbing the ladder in the eastern end of the church.
Untie them for a key to the second floor of the second church building.
Alternatively - if you’d prefer to play a boss fight instead of an assassination event - turn your attention to the first floor of that second building. Make your way around to the southern side and use your Odin’s sight to identify the guard with the key, this will give you access to that lower floor, which you can then use as another way to get to Gozlin’s hideout.
The captain with the key is hiding, and you need to kill the two nearby standard bearer enemies to make him appear.
Either way, inside the locked church where Gozlin plots his next move, you now have two choices: enter through the bottom floor and play a boss fight, or enter through the second floor and unlock the assassination event. On the second floor, go through the door and read the note in front of you.
This unlocks the assassination event and tells you about the precarious cross above Gozlin’s head. Shoot the pots on the weak wall behind it and you’ll end the scene without a fight.
The next part of the quest plays out the same, whichever path of the two paths you choose. Once you’re done with the main DLC story, there’s plenty more to enjoy. Here’s how to complete the Hidden quest at Roman Excavations. Or if it’s more boss fights you’re after, here’s where to find the Frankish Nobles.
